A real sequence

Your first 10 minutes

If you're setting up as a parent or guardian, this is the order that gets your whole household covered fastest one app, then the next.

Step 1

Install VigilantOne on your own phone

Get your personal Device Safety Score above zero before anything else.

Step 2

Add yourself as an Emergency Contact

Someone needs to be reachable before you start watching over anyone else.

Step 3

Install VigilantOne Family and create a Circle

This is the account your Dashboard will also sign into later.

Step 4

Add your first family member

By phone, or by pairing a watch if that's what they carry instead.

Step 5

Draw one Boundary — usually home

You'll feel the difference the first time someone leaves it.

Step 6

Open the Dashboard in a browser

Step 7

Set one Screen Time schedule

Easier to type out hours and days on a keyboard than a phone.

Step 8

Check Overview once more before you close the tab

If everyone shows up on the map, you're fully set up.
