Our Story
Built After a Personal Wake-Up Call
Vigilant One started out with AI collaboration between the Silicon Valley–based company Surround Apps and a select group of BUET Researchers. The early LLM/RAG-based work uncovered pathways to using Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to discover zero-day bugs in addition to pattern and db matching with known security issues.
The Vigilant One Product focus is to take the research results and make it usable and useful to the wider society. Our goal is to offer an effective product addressing cybersecurity concerns in Bangladesh. And so although we started out with basic security, we expanded into privacy and safety alerting and we are already working on additional areas such as family protection and threat intelligence.
